Lattes & Llamas Limited-Edition Lhasa Wilderness

...Say that five times fast! Our latest limited-edition yarn series is dyed by Megan-Anne and Jacqueline from Lattes & Llamas! Choose from 7 extra-special colorways hand-dyed on our yak and bamboo blend, Lhasa Wilderness.
These gorgeous colorways will make their debut in the Bijou Basin Ranch booth at the Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival (OFFF) this weekend. For our fans at home, we are currently accepting preorders in our online store, so be sure to reserve your skeins before they're gone! Preorders will ship on October 1; click here to shop now in our online store!

These colorways would be perfect for knitting any of these fabulous new fall designs using Lhasa Wilderness yarn:
Marly Bird's Make it Mine shawl is a free knitting pattern using several colors of Lhasa Wilderness yarn. Get creative and mix in some of our Outlandish colorways for a truly unique accessory!

The Dancing Waters Shawl by KaRi Wymer is crocheted with two contrasting colorways of Lhasa Wilderness yarn.
Faina Goberstein's Nebo pullover is the perfect fall sweater project using our Lhasa Wilderness yarn. This pattern appears in the brand-new book, The Art of Slip-Stitch Knitting!

All the Yak You Can Handle!

This weekend, Bijou Basin Ranch and Allure Fiber Wash can be found at TWO excellent fiber festivals: Eileen will be at the Salida Fiber Festival in Salida, CO September 12 & 13, and Carl will be at the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival in Jefferson, WI September 9-13 - so come say hello!
There will be plenty of your favorite luxury yarns, project kits, and Allure Fiber Wash at both events. We'll also have skeins of Xanadu, our new 100% cashmere yarn which is the perfect little luxury for your fall projects!
Each skein has excellent yardage: 400 yards in a light fingering weight. If you'd like to knit the Miya Shawl shown below, a copy of the pattern is free with your show purchase of Xanadu yarn.
We'll be attending several more fiber events this fall (click here for our full 2015 events calendar). If you'll be staying home this weekend, Heidi of Hands Occupied recently shared this mini-documentary which will bring the yaks to YOU! Grab a project and spend a few minutes watching this mini-documentary featuring our yaks:
We hope you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes peek at Bijou Basin Ranch. See you soon!
